Veaam today released a new version of its Management Pack for Microsoft’s Operations Manager monitoring solution capable of monitoring VMware vSphere, Microsoft Hyper-V and Veeam Backup & Replication environments.
The R2 version provides the following new functionality:
- Updated Resource Kit, containing an updated Database Sizing Calculator, scripts for deployment and configuration, and ‘mini’ MPs for customization.
- Enhanced database effficiencies, reducing MP’s footprint
- Ability to drill down in two directions for both app-to-metal and metal-to-app visibility.
- Support for Veeam Backup & Replication version 8 and System Center 2012 R2 with or without Update Rollups
