On September 20, Oracle’s CEO Larry Ellison declared in a conference call where the results of its First Quarter Fiscal Year 2013 Earnings where announced, a new IaaS (infrastructure-as-a-service) offering that will be officially introduced at the upcoming Oracle OpenWorld conference in San Francisco.
According to Ellison, that apparently didn’t like cloud computing in the past, now changed idea and this new challenge that is facing would allow Oracle to provide to its customers new cloud computing-based solutions. We only have to wait few more days to have more information about it. Oracle’s CEO also declared in the conference call:
The service will provide customers with access to secure, virtualized compute power hosted in an Oracle data centre.
