Mr. Kane is the chief financial officer of One Laptop per Child (OLPC), a non-profit organization created to design, manufacture and distribute laptops that are sufficiently inexpensive to provide every child in the world access to knowledge and modern forms of education.
Prior to OLPC, Mr. Kane held CFO roles at RSA Security (acquired by EMC Corp.), Aspen Technology, and Informix Software (acquired by IBM Corp.). He also served as president and CEO of Corechange Inc.
