VMware VCP certification will expire sometime after ESX Server 3.0 release

A long thread about VMware Certified Professional (VCP) exam started few hours ago on VMware VMTN forums, and an unexpected replay message just appeared on it:
Our TAM told us the VCP will expire with ESX 3 but not when its released. Check with your TAM/Local SE for details.
