Release: VMTurbo Community Edition 2011

VMTurbo released a free version of its virtualization management suite, targeted at small and midsized businesses (SMB) and small organizations willing to start monitoring their virtual infrastructure.
This release comes after the last update of VMTurbo Virtualization Software Suite of May 2011, covered here.
VMTurbo Community Edition includes the following features:
- Infrastructure monitoring
- Problem detection
- Performance reporting
- Capacity reporting
- Capacity alerting
These basic features allow a small organization to start tracking historical performance of its infrastructure, with no limits on the size of the latter, while monitoring for problems.
According to, Shmuel Kliger, president and CEO of VMTurbo:
VMTurbo has opened up access to the most basic monitoring and reporting capabilities in order to help accelerate adoption of virtualization.
VMTurbo also offers two suites with more features, under the name of Enterprise Operations Manager and Cloud Operations Manager. Details on all of the VMTurbo products are available here.
